Electric Fence for Factories, Warehouses & Commercial Properties in Pakistan
A residential 6-strand setup is not enough for a factory boundary. Commercial perimeters need higher joule energizers, multi-zone isolation, proper earthing grids and a system designed to stay live under continuous load — not trip out at the first fault.
Running-foot pricing is how commercial fencing is properly quoted. The 450 RFT figure below is our standard reference project — a mid-size factory or warehouse perimeter. Smaller sites are cheaper per-project; larger perimeters attract a volume reduction in material cost.

Why plot shape changes your quote
A factory boundary isn't always a neat rectangle. Every corner, setback and re-entrant angle needs its own bracket, insulator set, and junction box. We quote three shape categories:
Square / Rectangular
Simplest to install. Four corners, straightforward wire runs, single energizer usually sufficient up to 600 RFT. Lowest labour cost per running foot.
Typical: standard factory plot, rectangular warehouse compound
L-Shape / Corner Plot
Six corners instead of four. The internal corner at the notch point needs a special re-entrant bracket — this is where cheap installs fail first. Each additional corner adds approximately 15 minutes of install time and a bracket cost.
Typical: corner-cut plot, factory with loading bay cut-out
Irregular / Multi-Sided
Textile factories, industrial estates, warehouses with offset sections — these need a proper perimeter survey, angle calculations and sometimes a multi-run energizer setup. We quote these on-site only, never over the phone.
Typical: textile mill, industrial estate unit, multi-bay warehouse

What a commercial install includes that a residential one doesn't
Higher joule energizer
Factory perimeters over 400 RFT need 8–12 joule energizers to maintain pulse strength at the far end of the run. Undersizing here is invisible until someone walks through without a shock.
Multi-zone isolation
Large sites are divided into independently switchable zones — loading area, main perimeter, staff gate section — so a fault in one zone doesn't kill the whole system while you trace it.
Proper earthing grid
Commercial energizers need more earthing surface area than residential units. We install earthing rods in a calculated grid, not a single rod next to the energizer box.
Generator integration
Factories with generator backup can integrate the energizer into the gen-set changeover so the fence stays live during power transitions — no manual switching required.
Gate & access control
Main gate sections need live wire that retracts or bypasses when gates open. We integrate with boom barriers and gate automation — AMS installs both, so there's no finger-pointing between two separate contractors.
ISO 9001 documentation
For clients who need installation records for insurance or compliance purposes, AMS provides documented installation sign-off under our ISO 9001 certified quality system.
Yes — mobilisation to sites outside of the city where our nearest office is located is quoted separately based on distance and team requirements. We have offices in Lahore (DHA Phase 2), Karachi (DHA Phase 5) and Rawalpindi (Panorama Center), so most major urban sites are covered without long mobilisation.
Yes — large perimeters are handled with multiple energizer zones on a single master control panel. We have completed single-site installations exceeding 1,500 RFT in the textile sector. Quote requires an on-site survey; we don't estimate irregular large perimeters remotely.
Warning signs at intervals no greater than 10 metres are required at eye level, clearly visible from outside the perimeter. For factory sites near public roads, we recommend additional signs at primary viewpoints. Full detail in our legal guide.
